StandWithUs UK has opened the October 7 Education Center in London, aiming to address antisemitism and misinformation following the Hamas attacks on Israel last year.

The center, established as a response to the October 7 massacre and the subsequent rise in antisemitic incidents and denial, is dedicated to educating students, young professionals, and communities across the UK. It will provide resources, tools, and accurate information to confront the challenges surrounding the events.

A central feature of the initiative is sharing survivor accounts and stories of victims of the attacks. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an assault on Israel, killing approximately 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.

Rene Anisfeld, chair of StandWithUs UK, emphasized the importance of the project. “Despite being just a year away from the brutal 7/10 attacks, denials are already widespread,” she said, underscoring the need to preserve the truth and educate against the spread of misinformation.

The October 7 Education Center aligns with StandWithUs UK’s broader mission to support communities and ensure an accurate understanding of these tragic events.
